3. Recommend bringing your own water. Well water is available, should you run out. Water buffalo is for fire use only!!!

Haul out your trash. Leave a clean camp when you pack up. Place ashes from fires in ash barrels provided -if we have fires.

Dogs are allowed. Please respect your neighbors – don’t bring unfriendly or barking dogs, clean up after. Must be tied or on leash at all times.

CAMP RULES (PRIMITIVE CAMP / TRADER’S ROW):

Please unload vehicle in one (1) hour or less. Remove vehicle to parking area after unloading.

It is quite likely the County will have restricted open fires by late summer (dependent on perceived fire danger). Plan on no open fires. Propane stoves are allowed, (please keep out of sight when not in use in Primitive Camp) NO LIQUID FUEL STOVES OR LANTERNS. Clear a safe area to bare earth around your stove area – avoid placing under trees, near bushes/grass or near other fire hazards. Someone must be in attendance at all times when in use! Keep shovel and filled water bucket close at hand at all times.

The intent is to maintain the appearance of a pre -1840 rendezvous. Camps must reflect the era as much as possible at all times. All non-primitive gear must be kept out of sight! (Propane stoves excepted-during use-please cover when not in use.)

Horses welcome! You must keep horses in-hand or tied at all times. Please contact Horse Camp Segundo prior to arrival for details on feed (pasture available) and camping arrangements. Riding trails are close by camp.

Monday, Sept 3 – No vehicles in Primitive Camp to pack up before 8 AM.

If you are not willing or unable to abide by these rules, we respectfully request you attend a different rendezvous.
